Back from trip... and leaving. posted Jun 4th 2008, 9:02PM

Okay, I am back from my trip to visit family in Virginia and I have to say that it did have some fun parts and then lots and lots of work. I helped with cutting down a large limb (more like a tree) of a maple tree that grew over into my grandmothers yard and was in danger of falling onto the clothes line or the propane tanks depending on which way it fell. Then there was the clean up with that took several days. After that I was studying for my college class and getting the problems section done, while at the same time babysitting my niece while everyone else was off having fun, cooking, or working on other things around the house.
I didn't get that much time on the computer at my grandmothers house since I was taking care of my niece, studying/answering questions, or working outside the house. Then when we got that done it was back to the hotel with no internet or computer there to get a few hours rest before doing it all over again. The last day we had a BBQ at my aunt and uncle's house, who seem to have patched things up a bit with their relationship, and after eating I got to play on the Wii that my cousin has. He kicked my butt at Wii Baseball, Tennis, Golf, and Bowling. We went back to my grandmothers to spend some time there and I tried to get some work done, but my sister called me to help her find the Pyramids of Giza in an aerial photo of Egypt. While I was doing that I also looked after my niece and ended up making the poor girl pee herself with laughter playing with her.
On the way back home we got caught up in some bad traffic and weather, slowing us down to a small 5 mph in the rain behind a school bus. The traffic was due to people rubber necking to see what was going on on the other side of the highway after a tanker truck jackknifed and there was a fire on the road from it. But, we got home safe and sound and all the animals are happy as can be in their normal habitats. As for me, I have to get to work catching up with things that I missed with my online class, as well as art requests.

Something to add to this journal is that I'm going to be leaving Sheezy Art. Mainly due to negative responses to artwork that I have posted. Either I get no replies at all or the scores from people that look at my art are all in the negative range when it comes to that odd scoring thing. Sure it may sound vain, but I have gotten a lot of help from other sites where I posted my art, from help tips from other artists. So I shall be closing down this gallery for my art.
